Cookies
This page explains how brightkioskstage.hair uses cookies and similar storage. The salon associated with the site is on Schlossstraße, Sachsen, Germany. We do not install advertising trackers for their own sake, and we do not invent a list of hidden third-party pixels.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a site may ask the browser to keep. Local storage is a related browser feature that can remember a setting on your device. Both can be essential (the page cannot reasonably remember a choice without them) or optional (used for statistics or marketing). European and German rules require a choice before non-essential storage is used for those optional purposes.
What this site actually stores
When you choose Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Save preferences, the site writes a record to local storage using the key bks_cookie_consent. The record contains your category choices, a timestamp and a version number. The banner is hidden only after that record has been written and read back successfully. The same record is read on later pages so the banner does not appear again after a valid choice.
If you use the enquiry form, a local copy of the submitted fields may also be stored on your device so you can keep what you typed. That copy is not sent to a salon mailbox from this front-end, because this website does not publish an email address.
Categories
Essential
Always on. Remembers that you made a cookie choice, keeps the consent banner from returning after that choice, and supports basic page behaviour such as an open navigation menu during the visit. Without this category the site would have to ask you on every page load.
Analytics (optional)
Off unless you enable it. This site does not currently load an analytics package. If you switch the category on, your preference is stored so any future, clearly described measurement tool could run only with that agreement. Switching it on today does not install a tracker by itself.
Marketing (optional)
Off unless you enable it. This site does not load advertising or retargeting scripts. The control exists so a future, disclosed marketing tag would not run without a recorded yes. Enabling it now does not add such a tag.
Managing your choice
Use the buttons on the banner the first time you visit, or open Cookie Settings at any time from the footer, from this page, or from the preference centre. Accept All stores essential plus optional categories as allowed. Reject Non-Essential stores essential only. Manage Preferences lets you set analytics and marketing independently, then Save preferences. Cancel closes the panel without writing a new choice.
Browser controls
You can also clear site data for this domain in your browser settings, which removes the stored preference and any local form copy. After clearing, the banner will appear again because the site can no longer see a valid choice. Blocking all storage may prevent the banner from remembering a decision, which means it may return; that is a browser limitation, not a way of tracking you.
Third-party requests
Some pages request images from a public photography network and fonts from a font delivery network. Those requests are made by your browser to display the page. They are not additional advertising cookies we set. Their independent storage, if any, is governed by those providers. If you wish to limit such requests, browser content blockers and network settings are under your control.
Consent state
After a successful save, the site updates a consent state on the page (including a class on the document element) used only to hide the banner and to reflect which optional categories you allowed. No extra script is injected as a result of that state on the current website.
